About Us

Adline Clarke & Barbara Drummond

To view pictures click below and thanks to April Thornton, RMBC Family Life Center Coordinator for putting this together.

We were delighted to have State Representatives Adline Clarke and Barbara Drummond come out on such a beautiful day for Conversation and Coffee at Revelation Missionary Baptist Church, 1711 Taylor Lane, Mobile, AL 35505 where the Pastor is Rev. David L. Frazier, Sr., there were over 26 people in attendance.

They gave information on and answered some of the below questions.
1. 2020 Census - They told us why it was iimportant to complete the form either online, via us mail, or with a census taker because the 2020 population numbers will shape how political power and federal tax dollars are shared in the U.S over the next 10 years.
2. Voting - It is important because it gives people an opportunity to voice their opinion and vote for what they believe in, it holds elected officials accountable for their behavior while in office, and it prevents a minority from dictating the policies of a majority.
3. Public Defender's Office coming to Mobile County this office will help people who can't afford an attorney to represent them in criminal cases.

There were other topics touched on but you will have to follow these two outstanding Alabama State Representatives to find out what they are doing so that you can be informed first hand. They also told us if we had any issues or concerns that we could contact them see information below. They are also willing to come out to have Conversation and Coffee with your church or organization.
