Praise goal

Good morning! I pray that everyone reading today is blessed in someway. There's some confusion today about what praise is. Many think it's a compliment to God. Some think it's a way to show God thank you. Some think it's to be done before worship. Praise is actually our way to disrupt turmoil, stride, suffering, confusion and life's suffering. That really makes me feel like, I've been doing it wrong. It destroys the atmosphere of sickness, discouragement and disease. Praise makes the demons on Earth and in hell tremble. Literally, we have to praise our way out. Today's scripture is coming from Isaiah 66:5.~Tee
Hear the word of the Lord , you who tremble at his word: “Your own people who hate you, and exclude you because of my name, have said, ‘Let the Lord be glorified, that we may see your joy!’ Yet they will be put to shame.

Poor decisions

Good morning! I pray that everyone reading today is blessed in someway. How many times have you made a poor decision in life? I can't begin to count tgem but I admit I've made poir choices. What made tgem poor was the fact I didn't line up with God's will for me. I jumped the gun or simply did what I thought was best. In Ruth we see a good example of poor decision making. Elimelech like so many of us did his own thing. His decision lead to the very thing he was running from....death. His decision also had an affect on those around him, his family.  Whether we believe it or not, the choices we make will impact others in our life. When we get out of God's will, we can't tell the difference between right and wrong. Even in bad decisions God can restore. In our daily prayers, we should ask God for wisdom and alignment with his will. We are fortunate to have God and we should use his guidance in life. Today's scripture is coming from Ruth 1:1-5.
In the days when the judges ruled, there was a famine in the land. So a man from Bethlehem in Judah, together with his wife and two sons, went to live for a while in the country of Moab. The man’s name was Elimelek, his wife’s name was Naomi, and the names of his two sons were Mahlon and Kilion. They were Ephrathites from Bethlehem, Judah. And they went to Moab and lived there. Now Elimelek, Naomi’s husband, died, and she was left with her two sons. They married Moabite women, one named Orpah and the other Ruth. After they had lived there about ten years, both Mahlon and Kilion also died, and Naomi was left without her two sons and her husband.

A praising spirit

Good morning! I pray that everyone reading today is blessed in someway. Growing up kids want superpowers. When we become adult, many of us still do. Children of God have special powers. We have the spirit of praise. Praise is our protective force field against the enemy. Praise stops the enemies attack. Just like our homes praise protects us. Like the insulation inside our homes it insulates us. Praise can change our circumstances in life. When we praise God, he deserves our best. He deserves our best because he is worthy. He made a way for each of us to be saved. He made away for our debt to be paid. In the end praise can change us as well. Today's scripture is coming from Psalm 34:1.~Tee
I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.

The bad days

Good morning! I pray that everyone reading today is blessed in someway. Why do people feel christians are excluded from having bad days? I guess they think followers of God are exempt from them. That just isn't true. Everyday can't be a perfect day. Everyday can't be a walk in the park. If it were we would learn to lean and trust in God. It's hard to believe but the bad days are much needed in our lives. Just like a pop quiz day at school, our bad days are unexpected. No one is going to announce that on this day, something is going to happen. That's too easy! God doesn't work that way. He does prepare us. He strengthens us. He guides us and gives us wisdom. We can build our trust in our bad days. We can build our hope in our bad days. Today's scripture is coming from  Romans 5:3-5. ~Tee
Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

The gospel truth

Good morning! I pray that everyone reading today is blessed in someway. When you really think about it, for some people being a follower of God isn't worth it to them. They feel they are happier in their sin filled world. They watch us followers of Christ go through our trials and tribulations. They figure out they are better off with sin. That's just NOT true. Yes, we go through our trials and tribulations but we have peace. We know that our help and strength comes from the Lord. The sad part is not everyone is convicted by their sins. They haven't allowed the Holy Spirit to come in their heart. They haven't repented. They don't know the gospel truth.  I thank God for knowing the truth about thr gospel. Today's scripture is coming from Revelation 3:17-18.~Tee
You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.

Him or me?

Good morning! I pray that everyone reading today is blessed in someway. At some time in our lives, we've ashed the question him or me. Of course the "me" is you and the "him" that'd be God. I we are smart we'd align ourselves with God. Many of us choose to but there are some people who feel they don't have to. I can't say I feel sorry for them because they have made their choice. I don't always do right.  I don't always do as I'm told. I thank God for his love and mercy. That's why I choose HIM. He chose me, first. Today's scripture is coming from Ephesians 5:8-10.~Tee
For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord.

God's expectations

Good morning! I pray that everyone reading today is blessed in someway. Just like any parent, God has expectations for us. He knows that we aren't perfect. He'll understand that we will make mistakes. He knows that we each have faults. Yet, he still loves us. Now, that's good parenting. He's always there for us. He only ask that we honor him.  He ask that we love him and that we share his goodness to others. He ask that we love others the way he loves us. He gave his only son to pay our sin debt. Considering all he's done for us for us, it's the least we can do. Try to live our life to God's expectations. Today's scripture is coming from Matt 22:37-39.~Tee
Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

The doubt handler

Good morning! I pray that everyone reading today is blessed in someway.  I'm sure some of the stories I've read in the bible had an issue with doubt. Deep down a voice that whispered, that's impossoble" or "it can't be done". Luckily, God stepped in, in his own way and changed their heart. Fear calls our faith to have questions. However, our faith kicks in and takes control. Our faith overpowers the doubt. It is our faith that allows us to do the impossible. Jesus is our faith. He's the doubt hanlder. He's the doubt crusher. If only we share our doubts with him, he'll help us remain faithful. Today's scripture is coming from Matthew 11:1-18. ~Tee
After Jesus had finished instructing his twelve disciples, he went on from there to teach and preach in the towns of Galilee. When John, who was in prison, heard about the deeds of the Messiah, he sent his disciples to ask him, “Are you the one who is to come, or should we expect someone else?” Jesus replied, “Go back and report to John what you hear and see: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy  are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor.  Blessed is anyone who does not stumble on account of me.” As John’s disciples were leaving, Jesus began to speak to the crowd about John: “What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed swayed by the wind? If not, what did you go out to see? A man dressed in fine clothes? No, those who wear fine clothes are in kings’ palaces. Then what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet. This is the one about whom it is written: “ ‘I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way before you.’ Truly I tell you, among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet whoever is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been subjected to violence, and violent people have been raiding it. For all the Prophets and the Law prophesied until John. And if you are willing to accept it, he is the Elijah who was to come. Whoever has ears, let them hear. “To what can I compare this generation? They are like children sitting in the marketplaces and calling out to others: “ ‘We played the pipe for you, and you did not dance;  we sang a dirge, and you did not mourn.’  For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, ‘He has a demon.’

Good morning! I pray that everyone reading today is blessed in someway. Truth be told nothing can seperate us from Christ,  one we become believes. That's definitely reassuring! However, we can feel alienated due to sin. Sin actually drives a wedge between Christ and us. It blinds the truth that we already know about God. You ever talk to someone who makes God word fit their life? Well, that person is in something because God's word is plan and clear, no watering down needed. This begins a continuation of slipping and drifting away from Christ. If we can fully committee to letting sin go....wow! We'd be nothing but faithful followers in his protective arms. Whatever you may be going through, turn it over to God. You can only but God can. Today's scripture is coming from Acts 3:19. ~Tee
Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,

Your Worst

Good morning! I pray that everyone reading today is blessed in someway. No one wants to feel ashamed. Some of us think we are the only people who feel shame. That's not true! The bible has many peoole who felt ashamed stories. Not all men, not all women but both. God saw each of us, and sees us at our worst moments. Yet, he still loves us. We know this because he sent Jesus to pay the price for our committed sins. He was an innocent bystander. Not only does God dislike the sins, he dislikes the shame we feel. The agony, we put ourselves through. Thank God our sins, guilt and shame was taken to the cross. Today's scripture is coming from Luke 19:38-44.~Tee
“Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”  Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!” “I tell you,” he replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.” As he approached Jerusalem and saw the city, he wept over it and said, “If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace—but now it is hidden from your eyes. The days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and encircle you and hem you in on every side. They will dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of God’s coming to you.”
